In this movie, Danielle Macdonald portrays the character of Millie Cantwell, a brilliant fund manager from America who quits her unsatisfactory job to pursue her dream of becoming an opera singer.

So Millie quits her lucrative, moves away from her love interest, and travels to the Scottish Highlands from her workplace in London, where she finally becomes an opera singer. While going through intense training sessions, she meets another student who has come for training, and what follows is a story of competition and rivalry.
